College of Home Economics, Dhaka
The College of Home Economics, Dhaka is a constituent college〔http://www.du.ac.bd/list_of_colleges.php〕 of the University of Dhaka, which monitors its academic activities. The college is a government institution whose administrative & financial concerns are managed by the Ministry of Education of the Government of Bangladesh.
==History==
American Ford Foundation & Oklahoma State University, USA and the government of East Pakistan started the college in the year 1961 with just twenty-five students. This is the first college of Bangladesh for studying Home Economics.
